Courtney Shea focuses her practices on litigation matters, including personal injury, medical malpractice and general business law. She represents individuals and businesses in a variety of matters, including complex injuries and medical issues.

Prior to joining Barron and Stadfeld, Ms. Shea served as a judicial clerk in the Superior Court of Connecticut, where she worked extensively with judges on trials, hearings and motion sessions. She also worked as a law clerk assisting in various areas of trial preparation for Lubin & Meyer, PC of Boston. In addition, Ms. Shea was a legal intern for the Honorable R. Bruce Cozzens in the Supreme Court of New York, Nassau County.

While at Suffolk University Law School, Ms. Shea was Editor-in-Chief of Dicta (the Suffolk Law Newspaper), Development Editor of the Journal of High Technology Law, Director of Student Affairs for the Student Bar Association, and Vice President of the Irish-American Law Society. She graduated in the top 10% of her class, was on the Dean’s List, and received the Suffolk Jurisprudence Award for Criminal Law.
